DRY STONE WALLING

Dry stone walling is an ancient craft of more than 4,000 years old.

For those of you who have travelled in the North of England, you will no doubt at some time have marvelled at the myriad of walls criss-crossing the hills, and asked yourself the questions;

- How were these walls built ?
- Why were they constructed ?
- Where did the stone come from ?
- Who built them ?

These questions and more will be answered during Tamaracks Dry stone walling courses.

The courses take place in the picturesque Forest of Bowland in North Lancashire. The following courses are available.
